Popped into Ed's before heading back on the road! The shop is up the street on McCullough, and instead of going to a fast food chain we wanted to support the locals! When I entered there were only 1 customer and I so I got a little scared, if I chose the wrong place or what, but was immediately welcomed by the young man at the register. He was nice and helped take my order. Theres a seating area to the far left of the store with lots of seats. We got the foot long club sandwich, chips and a drink. I was sitting for a bit, and the owner offered me free food due to a cancelation. It was very nice of him to share the food with me and another customer. I was at the right place, at the right time! My club was delicious, the bread was so soft and the ingredients were so fresh (minus the bacon because it was soggy)! The meatball sub had a kick, but was hot from the oven and absolutely delicious! They threw in a free side of Mac and cheese which was good also. I'd definitely come back again if I'm ever in town! Happy Eats

The staff here is friendly and enthusiastic about their sandwiches! We hadn’t been before and the gentleman that took our order was so excited to pop our cherry & help us build our perfect sandwich! He was so patient with me while I asked questions and his opinion on topping varieties and “Ed’s Way.” (Hot Pepper spread, lettuce, onion, tomatoes, salt, pepper, oregano, oil & vinegar) Which is definitely the way to go! Can’t believe it’s taken us long to check this place out! Don’t sleep on Ed’s!!

Phenomenal sandwiches, everything tastes very fresh, and prices are great. Customer service is awesome as well. I recommend getting ur sandwich “Ed’s way”!

We came up to Ed's because another restaurant's service was terrible... so glad we did! Great sandwich, very kind and friendly people... even gave us a bowl of water for our Dog! Bread was super fresh and got our sandwiches "Ed's way" .. highly recommended.

Not quite the Ed's of old, the "big" buns and bed of lettuce are no longer available I guess because of cost! It was good but not great. We used to eat there once a week!

Ed’s Deli is the original sub / hoagie / sandwich shop in LHC (since 1973). The subs are a home run every time and the service is even better. Ask about Ed’s Way or have it your way.

I advise mobile ordering as I did that and it still took @ 22 minutes to fulfill (Tuesday at 1:00). The girls were working hard, it just takes a while I guess. Unfortunately they gave us a pint of green chile's instead of the pint of pasta salad that we ordered. Sandwich flavor was very good and loved the bread.
